Thiodicarb inhibits the enzyme cholinesterase in the synaptic region of the insect central nervous system, causing disruption of the nervous system and ultimately leading to insect death.
Thiodicarb also has slug control activity, causing paralysis and death in slugs.
It can be used for seed treatment, in which case it is absorbed systemically and quickly translocated within the plant.
Effective against larvae of Lepidoptera, beetles, and flies on various crops.

Do not mix Thiodicarb with acidic or alkaline compounds, heavy metal oxides, or fungicides containing Maneb or Mancozeb (except WP formulations) or Bordeaux mixture.
