Mode of Action:
Thiodicarb inhibits the enzyme cholinesterase in the synaptic region of the insect central nervous system, causing disruption of the nervous system and ultimately leading to insect death.
Application Management:
- Thiodicarb also has slug control activity, causing paralysis and death in slugs.
- It can be used for seed treatment, in which case it is absorbed systemically and quickly translocated within the plant.
- Effective against larvae of Lepidoptera, beetles, and flies on various crops.

Compatibility and Mixing:
- Do not mix Thiodicarb with acidic or alkaline compounds, heavy metal oxides, or fungicides containing Maneb or Mancozeb (except WP formulations) or Bordeaux mixture.
- Not compatible with vegetable oils.
