Mode of Action:

Thiodicarb inhibits the enzyme cholinesterase in the synaptic region of the insect central nervous system, causing disruption of the nervous system and ultimately leading to insect death.

Application Management:

  • Thiodicarb also has slug control activity, causing paralysis and death in slugs.
  • It can be used for seed treatment, in which case it is absorbed systemically and quickly translocated within the plant.
  • Effective against larvae of Lepidoptera, beetles, and flies on various crops.

Compatibility and Mixing:

  • Not compatible with vegetable oils.
