Application Management:
- Symptoms of acetochlor vary among plant species and even among cultivars of the same species. Test the herbicide on different cultivars before use to avoid crop damage.
- Apply acetochlor before weed emergence. Soil must be moist; optimal results are obtained with 10–20 mm irrigation immediately after application. If soil moisture is insufficient, apply pre-planting and incorporate into the top 5 cm of soil.
