Matador FerGreen 4.8% Chelated Iron Fertilizer
Iron (Fe) EDDHA Chelate – Ortho-Ortho Isomer 4.8%

Iron (Fe) is one of the most essential micronutrients for plants, playing a vital role in chlorophyll formation and overall photosynthetic activity. Iron deficiency is one of the most common nutrient deficiencies in crops and orchards across many agricultural regions.
Deficiency symptoms typically appear as chlorosis (yellowing) of young leaves due to reduced chlorophyll production, which can progress to leaf necrosis and dieback if not corrected.
The use of FerGreen Iron Chelate (EDDHA, 4.8% Ortho-Ortho) provides an effective solution for preventing and correcting iron deficiencies in trees and crops.

Advantages and Features:

  • Suitable for use in orchards, farmlands, and greenhouses
  • Fully water-soluble, ideal for fertigation systems
  • Enhances root development, flowering, and leaf greenness (increases total leaf area)
  • Improves plant resistance to environmental stresses (spring and winter frost), as well as pests and diseases
  • Non-precipitating in alkaline and calcareous soils
  • Improves crop yield and quality
  • Reduces post-harvest losses by enhancing metabolic efficiency through the role of iron
  • Stable up to pH = 11

Note: The required dosage depends on soil type, deficiency severity, and plant age.
In heavier soils, higher doses are recommended.
All EDDHA chelated iron fertilizers are not suitable for foliar spraying and are absorbed through the root zone via soil application or fertigation.

Application Instructions:

  1. Fruit Trees and Orchards:
Apply the required amount of solid FerGreen Iron Chelate (Spain) evenly beneath the canopy area of each tree. Incorporate lightly into the soil using a rake, then irrigate normally.
(For drip irrigation systems, dissolve the required dosage in irrigation water and apply through the system.)
  2. Field Crops:
Mix the required amount of solid iron chelate with soil along planting rows, then irrigate—preferably using sprinkler or drip systems.
