Application Management:

  • Malathion is a broad-spectrum insecticide and acaricide effective against a wide range of pests.
  • It is particularly effective in reducing mite populations.
  • Spraying should begin at the first sign of infestation, and may be repeated every 7–14 days if necessary.
  • Reduces blood cholinesterase activity (typical of organophosphates).
  • Certain apple, pear, and grape varieties may show phytotoxic sensitivity to Malathion—apply with caution.
