Imidacloprid 35% SC W/V
Systemic insecticide with translaminar activity and contact and stomach action
Trade Name: Confidor
Group: Neonicotinoid
Mode of Action:
A systemic insecticide with contact and stomach activity from the Neonicotinoid group, affecting nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect central nervous system, leading to paralysis and death.
Imidacloprid is a highly potent and long-lasting insecticide, efficiently absorbed through leaves, stems, and roots, and translocated with plant sap throughout the plant to control insect pests.
Used for control of a wide range of sap-sucking pests and some leaf-feeding insects in citrus, pistachio, fruit trees, and various field crops.
Effective on pests that have developed resistance to insecticides from other chemical groups.
At the first signs of damage on summer shoots, young trees, and citrus saplings aged 3–5 years, spraying is recommended in two applications, 10 days apart.
