Matador FerGreen 3.5% Chelated Iron Fertilizer
Iron (Fe) EDDHA Chelate – Ortho-Ortho Isomer 3.5%

Iron (Fe) is one of the most essential micronutrients in plants, playing a critical role in chlorophyll synthesis and overall plant metabolism. Iron deficiency is among the most common nutrient deficiencies observed in field and orchard crops across many agricultural regions.
Deficiency symptoms appear as chlorosis (yellowing) of young leaves due to reduced chlorophyll formation, which, if left untreated, can progress to leaf necrosis and dieback.
Application of FerGreen Iron Chelate (EDDHA, 3.5% Ortho-Ortho) is one of the most effective solutions for preventing and correcting iron deficiency in fruit trees and other crops.

Advantages and Features:

  • Suitable for use in orchards, farmlands, and greenhouses
  • Fully water-soluble, ideal for fertigation systems
  • Enhances root growth, flowering, and leaf greenness (increases leaf area and chlorophyll content)
  • Improves plant resistance to environmental stresses (frost, drought), pests, and diseases
  • Stable and non-precipitating in alkaline and calcareous soils
  • Increases yield and quality of agricultural products
  • Reduces crop losses through the vital role of iron in plant metabolism
  • Chelate stability up to pH = 11

Note: The required dosage depends on soil type, deficiency severity, and plant age.
EDDHA chelates are not recommended for foliar application and are absorbed via the root zone through fertigation or soil application.

Application Instructions:

  1. Orchard Trees:
Apply the required amount of solid iron chelate evenly under the canopy area of each tree. Incorporate lightly into the soil using a rake and irrigate normally.
(In drip irrigation systems, dissolve the required amount of chelate in irrigation water and apply directly to the root zone.)
  2. Field Crops:
Mix the required amount of solid iron chelate with soil along the planting rows, then irrigate—preferably using sprinkler or drip systems.
